Artist's Description

There is a dream in the collective unconscious. It is a dream as old as time itself. The dream is of a 57 Thunderbird. That's right! I know it’s hard to believe! But the dream is for the freedom inspired by Ford's effort in the fifties to build a sports car of refinement. Something in which to cruise to the club. It is a personal luxury-car that epitomizes elegance. I can almost hear the strains of the Theme from "A Summer Place" drifting through the air. I hear an orchestra on a warm summer's eve playing music that launched a thousand crinolines. The sights and sounds from a time when achievement was the norm. Success was not only encouraged - it was expected. It was a time when families grew. Those families planned a remarkable future. And the conveyance to that future was naturally enough the 57 Thunderbird. Get your piece of the Dream! Buy an Archival Print of this T-Bird watercolour from Chas Sinklier aka VivaChas! ~:0)
