Artist's Description
Some days one just wakes-up lucky. We were having a family luncheon on the grass and up pops this big old cloud in a lush blue sky - could see it coming for miles over the edge of the Texas hillside. I warmed up my Canon G11 with wide-angle lens (about 10mm) with HDR processing - and remarked to the friends present that if it would line-up with the tree-line on the ridge around sunset it would make a nice -Golden-Hour- pix. Well turns out it did and here's the pix to prove it - Ha! Love that time of day - real bewdy of a time to be out shooting - and if there's not a cammy in the old bag then all is moot. Got to carry that camera all the time b/c sketching is simply not the same when it comes to that yellow-gold sunset light. Wish lunch had been as tasty as this pix and remember the great shots at sunset and sunrise are not always over where the sun is - often the other direction is lit-up like neon and turns out to be the shot-of-the-day! --- VivaChas! --- see more at vivachas.com ~:0...
