1932 Ford Highboy Roadster
In previous posts we bantered back and forth about the 1932 Ford Lowboy Roadster. Today - we're having a look at a particularly fine example of a '32 Ford Highboy Roadster. What's the difference? Glad U asked! So What's a Ford Highboy? Maybe some of U will recall that a Lowboy has had the floor-pan cut free of the body. That allows the body of the rod to be lowered over the chassis. That makes the rod appear much lower. And without major chassis work. As U can see from the very nice VivaChas poster of a spectacular '32 Ford Highboy Roadster - It sits atop the frame rails. That's the chassis - the frame. Channeling a Ford Highboy is not Metaphysical - Ha! Okay - just a little patience from more experienced readers.
