Description
Ever been to a dog and pony show at the carnival? They’re great fun but they all use the same routine. The dogs come out and pretty entertaining. They do some great tricks. And just when the crowd has had enough of the dogs they begin to murmur. “Where’s the Pony,” starts to spread through the audience. Yeah, where’s the pony becomes a rumble until suddenly, Out comes not one pony, but two - count ‘em - Two Ponies and the whole crowd goes Wild with excitement! I tell you there’s nothing like your first dog and pony show. Sadly though, they are all the same. Some people have never seen a dog and pony show so they’re taking it all in like something’s really happening down there. But for those who have seen the performance before or even seen it enough times to know that nothing new comes of it. And the people have paid again and again for the performance to take place. Yeah, I’ve caught on to the show under the Big Top to know it’s just there for raking in the coins. Making the performers millionaires at the crowd’s expense. They used to call it bread and circuses, but now they simply lump it with con artists and charlatans. I think everybody should have this VivaChas art titled, “Dogs and Ponies Pay a Visit and Decide to Stay.” Makes a great one for the office too! ~;0) VivaChas!
