Description
A woman with an intense gaze sits at a bar, her hands resting on the counter. She wears a textured cardigan and a necklace, and the bar's warm, blurred lights create a moody atmosphere. You know it’s funny how shallow most of us are. Here in Handsome Woman’s Portrait from VivaChas there is the image of a human being that loves, laughs, cries, imagines, feels pain and joy and yet the average casual stroller cares nothing for someone like her. When we get a tortured soul in the Clubhouse there are standing instructions to contact either me or the GM on duty. We spend a few minutes observing and then strike up a conversation with that person. We find out what’s going on. Are they abused? Are they trying to get clear of someone or something that has them at risk? We have direct lines to help. Sometimes, like this woman, things are okay. She’s just alone. Like many middle aged parents their grown children don’t have time for them. Or they’ve lost a spouse. This woman is no trouble to go salvage for. She’s going to be okay. She’s beautiful really. What I call a handsome woman. She just needs some friends. She’ll have friends with us at the clubhouse as long as she needs us. I really like this portrait. Every one I do is the reflection of a person as real as you are. I have this photo art up in one of my offices to remind me that I can make a difference. You could put this beautiful person up on your walls to remind yourself that something needs done for someone somewhere. ~;0) VivaChas!
